Hooked Wool Rugs
These rugs are made of hand hooked wool strips on monk's cloth backing with a twill edging. These rugs work well as an accent rug in an entry, near the hearth or easy chair. The cloth is boiled and some is doubled, so they are rather thick and cushion-y. A well made and cared-for hooked rug is an heirloom and will last for generations. I know, I learned this craft from my grandmother and many of her rugs are not only in use, but in great condition today. A certificate of authenticity and care instructions are provided.
Remember that each monitor displays color differently, and your viewing angle can also affect the color.
